Today there were multiple calls for telephone poles being snapped, trees coming down, and roofs coming off of buildings.

While out reporting on those, Hazleton News 1 came across a woman being helped up and to the side of Broad Street after severe winds caused her to fall and strike her head on the roadway.
Three individuals driving along Broad Street got out of their vehicles to assist the woman in need.

APTS ambulance responded to the area while the citizens made sure the woman was okay and applied pressure to her head where she had been bleeding from her fall.

It's not often that acts of kindness and compassion like this can be witnessed, and today it seems like they are fewer and farther between in the world, much less in Hazleton.

Thank you to those who helped this woman.
