Around 3pm, crews from White Haven, Foster Township, Dennison Township, Freeland, Hazle Township, L&L, and Weatherly Fire Departments responded to 1061 River Street in East Side Borough, Just over the bridge in White Haven.
The ranch home was well involved when Departments arrived on scene.
The fire was a second alarm structure fire, requiring more departments to respond than an average fire.

Chief Dean Raudenbush with the White Haven Fire Department stated that there were two injuries. No injuries were life threatening. No firefighters were injured in the fire.
State Police reported that occupants of the home were attempting to reenter the home despite the fact that it was on fire.

Among the injuries reported, were burned hands on one of the home's occupants.

The bridge to East Side Borough was restricted to one lane while crews ran a line to a hydrant on the White Haven side of the bridge.
