Two Juveniles Being Charged In Gang Graffiti Across Freeland

Freeland Police state that the arrests of two juveniles are pending after graffiti was found on streets, sidewalks, and buildings in the Borough on Sunday.

Surveillance cameras led to the identification of the juveniles who left "SMM" and "SMMG" spray painted multiple times along Centre Street.

SMM and SMMG stand for Sex Money Murda or Sex Money Murda Gang, a Bronx based street organization affiliated with the Bloods. While it is unlikely that the juveniles are gang members or that gang members are interested in the 600 block of Centre Street, the damage is still costly for the Borough and property owners.

Freeland Police say they are currently working with victims to gather restitution information.
