Following the World Health Organization declaring the coronavirus outbreak a pandemic earlier today, President Trump addressed the nation on the coronavirus.

With a much more serious tone tonight, President Trump urged elderly Americans to avoid nonessential travel before leading in to how the Federal government will respond to the coronavirus.

Travel restrictions from Europe were announced. The restrictions will begin Friday at midnight and last for 30 days. "There will be exemptions for Americans who have undergone appropriate screenings. And these prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo."

Trump announced that Congress would be considering to provide financial relief to workers who are affected by the coronavirus. Additionally, the Small Business Administration is to provide low interest loans to small businesses negatively impacted by the coronavirus.
