Three Hospitalized, 940 Closed, After Crash With Entrapment

Just after 9am this morning, crews responded to the Drifton curve near Calello's Used Cars and the Sophia Coxe Estate for a motor vehicle accident involving a minivan and a box truck.

The road was closed for approximately an hour while members of Hazle Township Fire worked to extricate an entrapped passenger from the van.

Three patients were transported to Lehigh Valley Hazleton Hospital. Their names and conditions are not available at this time.
