Leahman Glenn Robert Potter, 48 of Sugarloaf, became a national sensation after a February 26th incident where a Homeowner in Hazle Township called police when they saw a man with red sauce on his face and clothes standing outside and discovered a pot of meatballs that was in a garage was missing.
The empty pot was found outside of the the property along the 100 block of North Providence Road. Troopers identified Potter as the meatball bandit.
Potter was charged with burglary, trespass and was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000.
Several charges were dismissed by prosecutors Wednesday when he appeared for a preliminary hearing in Luzerne County Central Court.
Potter waived the hearing and will now face one count of criminal trespass in County Court.
