Police Searching For Suspect Who Led A Chase From Freeland to Hazleton, Damaging Multiple Vehicles

At approximately 10:30 am, Freeland Police Officer Racho and Chief Harris attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Ridge and Main Streets in Freeland Borough.​
At approximately 10:30 am, Freeland Police Officer Racho and Chief Harris attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Ridge and Main Streets in Freeland Borough.

The vehicle struck the Freeland Police Cruiser and initiated a chase in excess of 100 miles per hour through Stockton and onto Diamond Avenue in Hazleton.​

The vehicle became disabled near Diamond and Seybert where the male fled the area on foot.

Police are aware of the male's identity, though are not releasing it at this time.

Numerous homes in the area that the male was known to frequent have been searched.

Police request that anyone with information contacts them.
