Today at approximately 12:30pm, Hazleton City Police were dispatched to the area of Mine and Vine Streets for a report of shots fired.
Through an investigation, Hazleton City Police investigators determined Manuel Stevens Lora, 20 of Hazleton, fired several rounds at a female Victim while she was traveling in a vehicle in the area.
According to a press release, an arrest warrant was obtained within three hours charging Stevens Lora with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Recklessly endangering, and Firearms not to be carried.
The victim was not injured in the incident. Hazleton Police were assisted by the Luzerne County Sheriffs Office and West Hazleton Police.
