Police Investigate Armed Robbery

At approximately 11am Hazleton City Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Community Bank on West Broad Street.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a green shirt and jeans.
A male matching the description was taken into custody near Mine and Church Streets, however through investigating the surveillance video, it was determined that this was not the suspect.
Police are actively investigating the situation.
