On Thursday August 25th, Hazleton City updated how citizens can pay parking meters.
The Pango Mobile Parking app which has been used in Harrisburg, Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Pittston, and  numerous other Pennsylvania cities is now making it's way to Hazleton.

Coin operated meters will still exist with Pango being used additionally as a convenience.

Signs around the city will designate parking zones that will correlate with the app.

Payments are electronic, using a credit or debit card, making payment convenient and easy.

If it's raining or snowing, you can pay the meter from inside your vehicle. If you are in a store or restaurant and your time runs up, the app will notify you and give an option to add more time to the meter.
