Court papers state 27 year old Timothy John Jones of White Haven stole a car, stole from other cars, and attempted to use stolen credit cards in just two days.

Jones allegedly stole a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo from a used car lot in Foster Township. Two days later, Jones also allegedly stole bank and credit cards from another vehicle at Lehigh Gorge State Park.

Jones then drove to the Hazle Township Wal-Mart on June 3rd in the stolen vehicle just hours after stealing the cards. Police arrested Jones when he attempted to use one of the stolen cards.
Jones was charged by the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources with breaking into at least three vehicles and stealing numerous items, theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving with a suspended license.

Jones was recently charged by Hazleton police when city officers allegedly found him in possession eight heroin packets and 17 empty heroin packets in his pockets during a traffic stop on East Diamond Avenue in March. Jones was a passenger in the vehicle at that time.

Jones was jailed with $25,000 bail.
