Governor Tom Wolf has ordered the Commonwealth flags on all Commonwealth facilities, public buildings and grounds in Greene County to fly at half-staff on Saturday, March 2, 2019, in honor of Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant, 35, who passed away Wednesday.

“Brian dedicated himself to his community through his service as a firefighter, police officer and sheriff. He will be missed,” said Gov. Wolf. “I give my condolences to his family and colleagues in law enforcement. I wish them the best in these difficult times.”

The Commonwealth flag shall be lowered to half-staff at these locations on Saturday, March 2, 2018, until sunset, at which time the flag shall be returned to full-staff. The United States flag will remain at full-staff.

All Pennsylvania Counties and residents are invited to participate in this tribute.
