At approximately 2:15 am Wednesday morning, Pennsylvania State Police, Valley Regional Fire, Sugarloaf Fire, and Valley Regional EMS responded to a report of a one car motor vehicle accident along Interstate 80 Eastbound near mile marker 258.
The vehicle had rolled, landing off the roadway with one male occupant entrapped in the vehicle.
Crews extricated the male with EMS initially requesting life flight for the patient's injuries, however helicopters were unavailable due to weather.
The patient was transported via Valley Regional EMS to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.
