Sugarloaf Township Police were dispatched to Pilot along Route 93 on Saturday for a motor vehicle accident.

The Officer discovered that a black pickup truck was traveling south on State Route 93 near Pilot. At this time a vehicle came off the I80 off ramp forcing the driver of the truck to make a quick right to avoid the collision. When the truck did this it went off the roadway into the Pilot parking lot where it stopped due to striking a concrete barrier in front of the fuel pumps.

Fortunately due to the barrier the fuel pumps were not struck. Also fortunately for the driver of the truck he was wearing his seat belt and was able to walk away from the accident with no injuries.
