Three felony charges have been filed against a Freeland Borough Councilwoman after Police say she used the Borough Recreation Board's Bank card.

Jennifer Farley was released on $10,000 unsecured bail at an arraignment yesterday in front of Magistrate O'Donnell.

According to Freeland Police Chief Kevin Schuetrumpf, a dozen withdrawals were made from various ATMS both within and outside of the borough between February 28th and March 16th. The total amount of the withdrawals were $4,458. Police say Farley is cooperative at this time.

Farley was charged with Felony 3 Access Device Is Unauthorized By Issuer, Felony 3 Theft By Unlawful Taking, and Felony 3 Receiving Stolen Property.

Farley was sworn in on January 6th and has served on Council for just over two months. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June.
