Carbon County Man Sentenced To Over 8 Years For Drug Trafficking And Firearms Offenses

United States Attorney David J. Freed announced that 29 year old Isaiah Moore-Brown of Jim Thorpe was sentenced for possessing with the intent to distribute cocaine base, and for possessing firearms in furtherance of his narcotics trafficking.

He received 
101 months’ imprisonment and three years of supervised release by United States District Court Judge James M. Munley.

According to Freed, Moore-Brown plead guilty to distributing between 28 grams and 112 grams of crack cocaine in the Carbon County area in January 2017. 

​Law enforcement officials recovered narcotics, three firearms, and ammunition during a search warrant execution at Moore-Brown’s Jim Thorpe residence.
