Burglary Suspect Behind Bars

On November 28, 2017 hazleton police officers responded to The 400 block of S. Poplar St., add approximately 1000hrs on a report that a male was attempting to gain entry into a residence through a window. 


Upon arrival, a Hispanic male later identified as Randy Peguero, (10/19/89) was observed attempting to climb through a 1st Story window. Officers attempted to detain Peguiero who was given numerous orders to comply. The individual refused and a physical altercation ensued. 

The individual was physically removed from inside the window. 

Peguiero was taken into custody and found to be in Possession of Heroin and Marijuana. 

Peguero was charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Disorderly Conduct. 

Peguiero arraigned by the Honorable Judge Malloy who sent bail at $20,000. 

The individual will be transported to LCCF.
