Boscov's Closed Due To Early Morning fire

Around 4:30 am this morning, multiple departments responded to a fire alarm which turned into a second alarm structure fire at Boscov's in the Laurel Mall.

According to Hazle Township Fire, smoke was showing when crews arrived. The fire was in a storage room on the East side of the business. Due to the extreme cold, the fire was upgraded to a second alarm with multiple other departments responding.

Among those on scene were Hazle Township, Hazleton City RIT, Sugarloaf Township, Valley Regional Fire, and others.
